Alright I ain't on the Chris Brown team. I'm not down with putting your hands on a women but........people who are judging these teenagers are going a lil overboard. To many times we judge on what our perception of what should happen in a situation and not the reality of a situation. Many times when we have the perspective of looking at a situation from a far we have all the wisdom in the world. When you are caught up and reacting out of angry and jealousy, many times we aren't as sane as we project. One of you ladies said "he's the stronger being he could kill her, he should know that". Well shouldn't she know that also? I'll just quote my Pops advice to my sister in summary. "Don't step into a man's place, you won't like the results". In other words everyone keep their hands to themselves, you don't want a man to fight you like a man. That's never a good thing.

ReplyDeleteI touched briefly on this subject while on your FB page. However, I will repeat what I was saying there.
Bottom line, never place your hand on a women! PERIOD! Being raised by a mother heavily into church, she always spoke to her four boys about simply walking away. Again, "You women can in fact "take us there" but no women is deserving of a hit, slap, punch or push. Now, I am not one to talk down to C&R because they are young and in love. But at what cost is that Love? I bruised face, broken hand, black eye, scratches? Love should not bring that...We all had our days of growing pains, but I can honestly say out of 41 years on the earth I've never touch a women. Thank God!
At this time I pray the C&R are making the right decisions for their lives, with the love and assistance from their families. They only what's good for one another. I can not judge that. But I will ask again....
"Why do women go back to a man that beats them?"
"Why does a women or man go back to being disrespected?"
"Why will a women state BUT I LOVE HIM after a slap?
